Janet, Thank you my sister. I am so grateful for you my lovely sister. ❤ Until ACIM, I never understood that Jesus death on the cross was an example for us of forgiveness. He taught His disciples about forgiveness and service and fulfillment of the law. But what He said about forgiveness on the cross, Father forgive them for they know not what they do, into Thy hands I commit My spirit, was a magnificent lesson and example. When He rose from the dead three days later, He did not draw an army to avenge those who conspired, or jeered or betrayed or beat and killed Him, no, not at all. He sent His disciples out on the great commission commanding them to teach all what He had taught them. It had never occurred to me before that to forgive others, is to be forgiven ourselves. To love our brothers, not attack them or accuse them, but to really love them is Jesus Way. I was lost in the dream of attack thoughts and ego. Janet, thank you for teaching us. I look forward to doing it with you and again with my two friends.
