A little story for you. My mum used to sing Jazz & Blues in pubs and clubs around London, and when I was a teen, she told me the story of the time that she once sung with Acker Bilk. She passed away in 2004 and her ashes are scattered in the garden of Remembrance at Putney Vale Cemetery and Crematorium.

So the church has a car park, and you're visiting the church or it's grounds, but you cannot use the car park.. Then what is the car park for.. You should have asked her.. She works for the church > voluntary or is a local to the area who has been given a power trip ego. I think people would like to know what's the church called and then write to them or the church diocese to find out why people visiting cannot use the car park. Plus shame her as well.

His rendition of Stranger On The Shore is an Evergreen, No matter What decade you play it in it Always delights and brings back sweet memories of days gone by. I am Disgusted with that Terrible women that refused to let you park in the church grounds, How Very Dare she make you walk So Far Back ! What a Cheek ! I would have reported her for such a Blatant Wrongdoing ! She should be Dismissed Immediately from her position. In my opinion she is not fit to serve the church . I felt sorry for you having to go through that. My God Where is the Compassion today for humanity when you come across people like that. There is Nowt As Queer As Folk Comes to mind. God Bless. Paul, having worked in the funeral business for years, I really think that there was possibly a funeral service going to take place. The cones, where the funeral car signs were. The gate would be locked for mourners cars. The main giveaway is that is looked like there were 'Reserved' notices on the front pews, which is very normal in a church funeral service. That would explain her panic in closing the gate, but not her rudeness. She could have just said we are expecting funeral/mourners cars. As for the sign that the church was open - no-one will be turned away from a church (just the car park) regardless of the service. Just a strong possibility. Excellent video as usual. I even have a new clarinet waiting for me to learn it, inspired by Acker Bilk x

Wow Paul.😮!!!!!!!!! You finally managed to get into a church at last 😂 well done mate. Anyway joking apart, I remember Acker Bilk myself even though I'm in my middle forties, he was a legend in the music world, and Stranger's on a shore will always stick in my mind as one of his greatest hits. Well done Paul for yet another good KZbin video, keep up the good work mate. On another note and yes I understand that your a really busy person at work and no doubt have loads of people asking you for famous graves visits? But if possible whenever you get through your large list of people to go and visit, could there be any chance you could go and visit a guy called Adge Cutler who was the manager of the best folk group in the West Country (The Wurzels) which I am a great fan of myself 🤩🤩 it'll be nice to see where his is buried. Anyway Paul I'll leave the idea up to you and look forward to seeing it on KZbin one day maybe? Anyway all the best to you. From. Devon Mike.
