This was right after Jerry took everyone hostage and blew up the Metro Court lobby. Alan died because he’d had a heart attack during the event and didn’t get to the hospital in time. Jason had been with him right after he passed but didn’t have a “final word” with him because he’d been in a gunfight with Jerry.
