Hero MotoCorp as a brand has been synonymous with commuter bikes such as the Splendor, Passion, HF Deluxe and more. While these motorcycles have played a pivotal role in making Hero, the largest two-wheeler brand in India, it isn’t a particularly aspirational brand.
Hero has been changing that image by introducing many new exciting and premium two-wheelers over the past few years. What we’re riding today is the summit of the Hero MotoCorp, the Mavrick 440, a motorcycle made in collaboration with Harley-Davidson. Being a Hero motorcycle, it’s much more affordable than its American sibling, but the key question is, is the Mavrick 440 a proper Top Gun? Find the answer in the Acko Drive Road Test Video

An important correction: It is primarily a Hero engineered product - the chasis, engine and all. HD joined later and worked on designing X440 styling.

The Engine's top-end and gearbox are derived straight from the Iron 883 while the gearbox has received a rework, the top-end is pretty much an exact replica from the 883 architecture.

@tathagatahalder 11 күн бұрын
@@BrattyBiker As per Hero officials during the launch ride, Hero's engine gearbox chassis started development much before HD joined in the programme. Subhabrat will also confirm that. May be Iron 883 was a benchmark. But no official clarification on that.

🌟 Overall Great Value Offering With Exceptional Quality & Fit-Finish From Hero Motocorp But Frankly Speaking, This Bike Seriously Lacks The Indian Vibe...... Whether It Is Design Or Naming, This Bike Lacks That Desi Machho Appeal Which Generally Associated With This Segment....... I'm Not Surprised If This Bike Goes In Dominar Way😐

The only problem is the price as it directly competes with Triump speed 400 which has almost same price. So people would definitely hesitate to buy hero bike at the price when Triumph is available.

Why the helmet is always in the video frame? Is it a promotion? Feels cheeky in an otherwise good (as has been the case) review by Arun.
@ArunNadar-AckoDrive
@ArunNadar-AckoDrive 9 күн бұрын
Thanks for the feedback and appreciation. The whole idea of keeping the helmet in the frame is to promote safety and safe riding, something which is very dear and crucial for Acko Drive. If anything is sponsored, we do ensure that it's mentioned clearly as a sponsored content and maintain honesty in our communication.

Why is the fuel tank only 13.5? That provides max 360km. I think bike with an economy of 20-30 should always come with 15lt tank. I ride rtr 160, crusing at 90-95 it provides a mileage of 45, that gives me a range of 500-550km.

Hero should just bring back Karizma ZMR , that bulky and beautiful bike. If you put fat types on it, it looks like a super bike. Truly legend 😍😍. New Karizma looks so wierd and small in comparison.
@ArunNadar-AckoDrive
@ArunNadar-AckoDrive 9 күн бұрын
The Hero Karizma clears deserves a bigger engine and proper makeover, especially given the fact that the Bajaj Pulsar is now available with an almost 400 cc engine in the form of the NS400Z.

Man, I wonder why no one notices that hideous dummy left switch cube on the left. It feels so obnoxiously cheap, like the older cars where they used to give you a bucket load of dummy buttons on the lower trims, to make you feel bad about the features you don't have.
@ArunNadar-AckoDrive
@ArunNadar-AckoDrive 9 күн бұрын
Hahaha we did, the actual reason is that the switch gear is shared with the Harley X440 that gets switch cubes, which is missing on the bike and hence the empty space.
