“I don’t have time for the anxiety." I´d advise being careful about this sentiment. Sometimes yes, you just have to put it aside and do what has to be done. But I have been doing this for years, pretending my anxiety doesn´t exist, not feeling it until it just exploded. what helped me recently was to stop treating my anxiety like an enemy I have to fight, but like a friend that needs support. To acknowledge how I´m feeling and why, remind myself that it´s okay and move on. My anxiety is still there, but it stopped roaring to my face

i really struggle with comparing myself to other people too and I can make myself so miserable so fast because of it, so a big goal i've been working on this year has been learning how to turn off that negative voice in my head and be kinder to myself. the negative thoughts still come but i've gotten better at acknowledging them and not letting them completely take over my brain

Thank you for this video, seriously. Last night I was checking some stuff on Social Media, and I watched some people with, like, perfect lives, perfect bodies, perfect grades. And I felt so bad, I felt that I wasn't enough because, for example, I'm not good at math, I thought that the things that made me be me wasn't enough...but then I thought of all the things I've been gone through and I felt a little bit better. As you say, our lives are not a competition, we have to go at our own pace. This is something that I need to understand better, I know I got to get better at loving myself. So yes, thank you for this video, for showing how you just make up your mind and did what you had to do. 💖

That cycle you described in the beginning is MEEEEEEEEE. It’s so hard to explain but thank you for putting it into words. What has helped me the most is “chunking” and do small things every day towards a big goal. I’m a VERYYYY much a “all or nothing” thinker and so big projects exhaust me. Setting time limits also helps and forcing myself to walk away. It’s taken YEARS TO get that point. But slowly we are getting there! Thank for making this part of your channel.

I just wanna say that i used to struggle w/ anxiety and depression..and i know how hard it is to move past it, believe me i do..but the only way to overcome mental illness is to decide that you’re tired of it. I was tired of living that way..so one night before bed i said tomorrow morning i will no longer be depressed and anxious..and having that mentality of wanting to move past it, got me through the hardest of days! It’s been 3 years since I’ve felt depressed or anxious :) It’s simple yet so hard, but you have to take control and decide you’re sick and tired of living in the past, living in anxiety, and living in depression..it consumes you, and life is way too short to live that way..we give our life away to depression, when in reality life is waiting for us to enjoy and love the short amount of time we have!

I ended up deleting my Instagram app a couple months ago and it has been freeing! I still have an account but I thought it’d be good to do a social media detox. I definitely recommend it to anyone going through this same thing, because I find myself doing other things to fill my time (like reading or housework) and it has helped me to be more positive and peaceful.

this is the video that got me out of my bed this morning. I've been having a very nice and mindful day ever since. this was just the thing that I needed and it shows me again that if you just let go of your fear to loose control and actively listen more to what YOU truly need in life and to what your heart truly desires, everything falls into place the way it is right for you. Be productive in your own space and time and take care of yourself. you are so precious and if you let yourself just BE the way you want to live in your singular uniqueness and do what you wanna do in your own way, then you can find and experience your very own, incomparable power. that is the most powerful way you can be. just yourself in your own space. this power does not look alike any other, so there is no point in comparing it to somebody elses. as soon as you do, you lose that sense of self and fall out of the strongest way you can be. Just remind yourself of how lovable you are, how well you are doing, the progress you are making and the beautiful qualities you possess. they're absolutely inimitable and peculiar... love you very much and THANK YOUUUU Hannah for this wonderful video ❤️

Thank you for making this video so so much I haven’t related to something so strongly in a while. Sometimes life can just feel like a big “to-do” list and we pressure ourself and base out self worth on whether we complete those things on the “to-do” list. What’s important is to remember that we’re not A.I that just works haha, we’re people that have emotions and need breaks!! Please be kind to yourself and remember that your “to-do” list does not determine your self worth ;) best of luck to you all loves !

One thing I always try to remind myself of is that people around me are my colleagues, not my competitors. And we are all very different and have our own timelines. I enjoy your content a lot Hannah 💜

I love hearing her honest sharing of productivity and anxiety so much because it is so relatable. The email anxiety is such a real thing and I'm so anxious because I literally have the same problem lol
