Why arnt you showing the first step calibrating the machine to zero .basically it's impossible to to do that's why .I've purchased one snd it's going back to supplier. It's impossible to calibrate

did you add the width of your blade? Mine is dead on. ran about 2 20 foot of baseboards through mine and every one was on target. Had the item for almost a year and decided to setup it up. Loved it so much i ordered the tape measure they are releasing next month.
