In the new acne products collection, you’ll find a Benzoyl Peroxide Cream Cleanser 5% which has a nourishing, creamy texture that doesn’t dry out your skin. That means you can use it daily (go slowly of course!) to prevent and treat acne.
The Salicylic Acid Serum 2% hydrates your skin as it slows oil production and clears breakouts. It also contains a PHA called maltobionic acid for gentle exfoliation, brightening, and hydration.
For those who want to maintain clear skin or have sensitive, acne-prone skin, there is the Encapsulated Salicylic Acid Moisturizer 0.75% for daily use. It also contains dioic acid, a cousin to azelaic acid, to further even complexion and brighten the skin.
And last, the Sulfur Spot Treatment 8% is a creamy, sulfur-based treatment that helps target acne, while it supports your skin barrier and brightens your skin with ingredients like niacinamide and fermented reishi. If you deal with PIH after a pimple, then this one is for you.

I’m so so so happy with this line and the in depth explanations! Very key point I took away that I faced 5 years ago is that you don’t have to go 100mph speed into a wall. What about if you have sensitive Dry skin ? Would the serum and moisturizer be okay ? My skin tends to be more dry especially cheeks, chin, parts of the nose, and forehead oily. I used to be a normal combination but moving to a more dry place by skin is super dry and acne prone.

Our moisturizer is a low percentage of salicylic acid so it could be ok, but I would work it into your routine slowly to see if your skin can handle two products with SA at once. It might not be necessary!

The biggest difference is that we made our products more hydrating and nourishing, since acne ingredients tend to dry and irritate the skin.

Yay! I am so excited there’s a sulfur product too! The spot treatment leaves a little visible residue on the skin so if you want to use it over a larger area (or use it daily), I’d apply it at night.

Difference between the serum and the BHA exfoliant? Who should use which?

The biggest different is application preference, but I do find that serums are more gentle because you apply and you don’t rub. The BHA exfoliant also has some fruit acids that further brighten the skin, while serum has a PHA to gently exfoliate and hydrate.

She kind of answered a part of your question. They're trying to come out with product for a variety of different skin problems. Not really a cash grab to try and cater to a variety of people. I am also interested in how she funds it, but it's not just her brand . She has a business partner too and that probably helps... also the products sell REALLY well. They're sold on Amazon, target , website etc... I think in another video she said she said she sells a niacinamide serum every min. That's alot of money

They have a team of people to test it out, not just Susan. Especially this acne line, which she didn’t suffer from. Also, to your point about older brands taking years. There has been a high demand for affordable skincare these past few years, and technology back then doesn’t match today.

I really hope these aren't laced with a million other ingridients and a mixed bag of acids and extracts in one tube like the other naturium products. People with acne don't need a laundry list of ingridients. Just the bare minimum because we are already sensitive skinned and too much stuff in one product tends to make matters worse. I hope they listen to customers and also they have way too many products! I know it's to sell more but dang. Like a million different things!

I'M SO PSYCHED!! 10 year sufferer of hormonal acne here (that got worse 2 years ago after having my baby girl!! 🥲) and I have used Naturium products since they launched. I've been waiting for this type of launch (even though a lot of your products are already great for acne too!). Question: im going to get back on tretinoin .05% a few times a week.
