Interestingly in my school eating was actually allowed during class (except for practical classes like chemistry). Teachers figured that students would be less focused, the more hungry they became. Students would also chat less during class when they were eating, but would still listen to the lessons. So letting Students eat is actually more beneficial than it seems.

Lucky. If they caught us (U.S. school) in our classes eating, they would take it and throw it in the trash or make us throw it away. Then, depending on the teacher, we would either have to apologize to everyone, get extra work as punishment, or get removed from the classroom. Sometimes all 3 options would be dished out at once. We'd also get written up or sent to detention for it, depending on the teacher and their mood. You are correct though, I really was just eating and paying attention.

I get to eat in any of my classes because I'm diabetic so my teachers let me I just never do it. I only did it once when my blood sugar was luckily nobody cares

School's are different around the world. I think at a High school I used to go to, the bell was like a buzzer from the intercom which was kinda nice. I didn't know if we had rules against eating in class though... Keep up the good Damomo and Sumomo, you both are one of the best Animal Crossing animators I seen so far on KZbin.
