Also, this stream was really heckin funny! The re-roll fiasco was pain. The first poll outcome was not to re-roll, but the longer Pat kept seeming unsure was his down fall. Then all of sudden chat just wanted him to suffer. You all knew it'd get worse and it did. The first 2 were not bad at all! Pat, never show chat your weak side. It'll haunt you!

I actually just got my switch and the game this month after years of longing and wishing. So, I just played it so far like I played other games and I just figured out that I've basically been playing close to your version of hard mode just minus the rules for selling stuff but I have already decided that I'm not changing the elevations etc until at least a year in and no time travel 😂 I might just be a bit crazy 🤣... Either way found you through the hard core videos and just subscribed

I figured from the beginning you would “re-roll” just to make it even more grueling for content purposes and I thought “You can’t fool me, Pat!!! All this contemplating when you already know what you’re going to do and you know you’re going to get worse villagers!” … and then when the reaction to the villagers hit, and I died laughing, I was like “Yep, you got me! You give us what we love!” And that’s just one reason we love you! 😂

I said in chat I would leave a cute idea for market hosts who are doing this challenge, so here it is. Since you have to drop the item as a leaf, you could make a custom design of what the item looks like, and place the design as a canvas behind the leaf on the ground. Even if it's not a "good" design, it'd still be really cute and funny :)

I was so attached to my progress on my main island. Not the island itself, but everything I have done. I completed the critterpedia and all the art, all the golden tools, a ridiculous catalog, 17 million bells, golden tools, etc. I refuse to reset the island. I tear down and redo the island, but I wont reset. I love the beginning of the game though so last year I bought a second switch with some fantasy football winnings. Now I have an island I can always reset. Did it immediately once I watched some hard mode content. Nice work, Pat!

Rocket was one of my first villagers and I loved her by the end. At the time I had no idea you could reroll the islands at all. But I was sad when she eventually wanted to leave. She's a sweetheart! 😍😊

I don’t normally watch streams but I enjoyed this one. I’m not on discord but I am playing this Hard Mode Challenge. I’m having a blast. I don’t have internet so I can’t do the Sunday markets but for now I’m allowing myself to sell my game clothes and game items to the nook drop box. I feel that’s fair trade off. So I rolled the island name of Fjord. I landed apples and a green airport. My OG villagers are Phoebe and Roald. I went with the first island roll so I’ll just see who gives me their pic first. What I love about this challenge is some of these rules were my own personal style of game play before. So thanks for creating this great game challenge. I love the ACNH community. I also made my first shirt and called it Sherbet Stripes. Lol😂 This is so fun!!

I restarted and my new island is called Everstorm. My starters were Hazel and Coach. I forgot how much of a grind it is at the beginning especially going by hardcore rules 😂

I think the added views are because you scheduled the stream - the Spiffing Brit made a video that explained that KZbin pushes livestreams that are about to start. So I think it was promoted more than if it just randomly started.

((shudders)) I have some questions about some things you had said in this stream/video... you said that you were going to "get rid of" the oranges (that were native to the "TP" island - first roll) and get a "sister" fruit? WHAT is a sister fruit? After you found your name, you talked about Time Traveling. ( thank you for allowing us to do that ) When you showed the dailies, the last line said that we "had to get our fortune told by Katrina." WHO is Katrina? I've never seen her in my game. Is she new?

Wait am confusing myself because the Hard Mode Rules say you can only sell Fish to CJ and Bugs to Flick, so does that mean there's an exception for you as you start your island? Because you said you're placing the Fish until you can send them to Nooks? So shouldn't you clarify or amend that in the Economic rules? Since you don't have CJ or Flick on your island now.

Can I pick some rules and go semi? Like the design thing. I just can't, I've tried. I can agree with the codes thing, but not the wearables. Can you give a list of Big Rules that can't be broken under any circumstances? I can see a few problems with the rules: 1. You can't post designs in your own Ables. 2. It can take hours to persuade a campsite villager to move in. And if you guess their little game wrong, they'll refuse to come. Some just go on saying no. 3. Why buy anything from Ables if you can only wear what you design? 4. You didn't mention HHP. Can we use that if we have it? I'm not mentioning people with a second Switch. Nuh-uh. Are there penalties for breaking the rules? Like forgetting to visit Katrina, for instance? Can we break some rules and pay a penalty instead?

Dude, I've been watching this stream for about 45 minutes and have an half a dozen ads. Long streams like this should not have ads every 5 to 10 minutes. Adjust your ad settings, please. KZbin's default settings for ads suck for viewers.
