At 26:33 I also felt the same for the most part back then. And somehow I managed to get Raymond, marshall, stitches, Ankha and bob in my campsite. Like high classed villagers in the fandoms eyes and I turned down most of them because I didn't want them. The only 2 I took were Raymond (he's on a friend's island now) and Ankha. I now just check my campsite tent out of curiosity since my island is filled with personal dreamies.

I swear I've never been so lucky in my life than when I started my most recent file of ACNH. I got the EXACT island layout in only 6 resets, the right airport colour, my 2 favorite fruit and then pears lol. And all 10 of the villagers I've been hunting for (I have a list of like 18) have all been found within half a month of playing non-regularly and under 10 NMT every time. My first nook miles ticket was shino and my second campsite villager was marshal, two of my favorites. What's crazy tho is I'm on like 150+ NMT and no zucker or marina.

You building an amusement park so close to the final hour just reminds me of that one episode of the Kirby anime where the world is about to end due to a comet heading towards Popstar and Dedede ends up building a playground for Kirby as one of his final good deeds. (They're able to alter the course of the comet before it hits but the playground part is still a weirdly somber scene for the Kirby anime of all things)
