The biggest secret is that it's not even salt. Salt is too hydroscopic and can stick to secret compartments and not come out. He uses a very fine white sand (similar to that in hourglasses), which flows better than salt.

This is one of the best magic performances I've ever seen. Starting off with the reappearing nipple is a stupid but brilliant trick because it's meant to be silly and easily figured out by the audience. Then he continues to act silly with the salt and is like "ha", "try to figure this out". Perfection
