We specifically looked at three Metabo LED Site Lights:
BSA 18 LED 10,000 Cordless Site Light [AC/DC feature]
BSA 18 LED 4000 Cordless Site Light
BSA 12-18 LED 2000 Cordless Site Light [runs on 12-volt and 18-volt batteries]
Lumens and AC/DC Feature
All three lights emit different lumen but have similar features, except for the LED 10,000 site Light. This light offers an AC/DC option, and the BSA 2000 light can operate on 12-volt or 18-volt batteries.
LED 2000 Lumen - 2,000 lumens
LED 4000 Lumen - 4,000 lumens
LED 10,000 Lumen - 10,000 lumens

COB stand for Chip On Board : the LED chips are directly connected to the circuit board so it can more efficiently shed it’s heat, and takes up much less space. Therefore it can be driven at higher currents, producing more light from a smaller surface.

I have had the led 2000 since November. It feels well built,and very compact. I really like the dial,and the battery cover. The dial is so much nicer than,flipping through different modes like my Milwaukee's.

Hopefully Milwaukee catches up, I love their existing stuff but new flex rocket one that detaches and this are amazing for value size and brightness

@@ConcordCarpenter yes However many of their tools do not share the same components but I've noticed recently some tools are using similar or same parts in applications Looking forward to the new track/railsaw they are going to release soon

The HPT versions do not have magnets. Curiously, they are rated IP65 instead of IP54.

Good sign, I hope that means both brands will start sharing more technology. Would be great to get the fantasic German Metabo drills under the Metabo HPT brand easier in Canada

@@onikwa Metabo just announced a framing nailer which is the same as Hikoki and Hikoki is going to release a track saw which looks the same as the Metabo.

Need difussion lens so wont have 100 points of light. Biggest drawback.
