Put bottom half slabs at 320. Phantoms try to spawn on the topmost layer, but if it is made of transparent blocks, there are no valid spawning spaces😉 Major downside is, saplings need a torch beside, because the light level is no longer sufficient to allow natural tree grow. RIP Drew.

On July 11, 2018 he was in a motorcycle accident with a tree survice truck and was less than a mm away from death, if it would have not been for the lord, I wouldn’t have been able to have a dad when I needed him most, if he would have died that day in 2018, I wouldn’t have had a drive in live and my not have been alive right now. The block that you didn't recognize and called a "portal" is called a respawn anchor. They are used for setting your spawn point in the nether, because beds don't work. You can use glowstone to power it up, but never do this in the overworld or it will explode. Also, to make dirt with course dirt, you need to till course dirt once. You can effectively duplicate dirt by combining dirt with gravel and making course dirt, then tilling the newly made course dirt.

It's A respawn anchor! you put glowstone in it so you can respawn in the nether. You can Respawn up to four times, depending on how much glow stone you put in it! (Btw, don't add more than 4 glow stone or punch it or it will explode.)
