At the grand, fun age of 70 I so agree do not pressure yourself for perfection. I have the luxury of living in a shambolic 300 year old farm house with drafts and leeks. My mantra for hosting is give family and friends a roof, lovely, simple food, drink and the rest is up to them. Lots of times I do not get round to vacuuming but no one has ever noticed or mentioned 😱🤣🤣😍😍 The fun of old friends. Land does not move. Many a farming family do not move so old friends really are old friends. Friends with history. Many a time words are not needed, just a look across a room. Sheer Luxe Thank you for such fun.
