Hi, Jennifer. Thank you so much for sharing this night with us. I remember when this could have been my family, but children have grown, no babies and many deaths have dwindled down our get-togethers. This took me back to my holiday family memories. I loved the chaos, the noise, and the laughter and family love.

I watched this video 4 times already. It is so calming and fun to watch you cook. I have your cookbook and love it. Genius on wrapping the table. Everything looked delicious. I would love Em’s recipe for the peppermint bark. You guys are pure joy. Some KZbinrs change when they get bigger. That’s what I love about you. Your thrifty, humble, great mama. I learn a lot. I think we are the same age or close to it. Oh and I have 5 kids. That’s it. Sometimes I don’t write because I watch on the tv with my husband at night. 😊

I saw your NOEL pillow in the video and it triggered a memory from when I was a child. My mom always told everyone that my first daughter would have to be named NOEL because it was the first word I learned to spell at 3 years old. It didn't happen her name is Joanne bit that memory is one of the happiest memories of my mother and I. I don't have many good ones with her because after I turned 3 the focus turned to being all about my brothers and what they wanted.

I never cease to wonder how a celebration like this takes so much time, preparation and energy and, seemingly in an instant, results in presents opened, food eaten, tons of dirty dishes and wrapping paper all over. Good thing that the wonderful memories that last a lifetime make it all worthwhile!❤

My father ALWAYS boiled the ham once. Drained it. Broiled it with gingerale. Drained it, then baked it with gingerale and foil over the top. Never too salty or too fatty. Always delicious and moist. Easy..but not as easy and what you and I do with ham. I need to make a gingerale ham. He used regular ginerale. NOT diet.
