I love your closing statement. I said something similar yesterday. Enjoy all of life’s adventures. Even the everyday things can be fun adventures. Even the mundane can be special if we remember to be thankful for all we have and to make the most of every day! Love the cranberry harvest content in addition to the homemaking. Have a blessed day.

Hi Jennifer and sweet family! Your hair looks beautiful Jennifer. Chef Joe and your sweet smiling face, you make me smile. Maria has a lot of reading ahead if she is reading the Harry Potter series. Taco soup is a favorite of mine and it’s delicious. Peter is really growing up fast. My brother was just baptized yesterday and my mother is 84 years old and it was a very happy day for her. It’s hard for her to get around, but she said I can’t miss this time in his life and came to church to watch my uncle who is a pastor baptize him. We can lead our children in the right direction and pray that they stay on that path with our Lord and Savior. I hope everyone has a very blessed night and week!

I Jennifer, this is my first comment, but I have followed your blog for quite a while. I thought I would tell you that my Taco soup recipe called for a can (about 15 oz) of drained white or yellow hominy. I'm not sure if you can even buy that up in Wisconsin (my husband is from Iowa and he had never seen or heard of hominy until he moved to Texas) but it adds a taste to the soup that is very similar to taco shells, since hominy is what masa is made from, and masa is what taco shells are made from. I hope this makes sense. We are in Tennessee now and we don’t have any problem finding canned hominy here, so I don't know if it is regional to the south. If you get a chance, give it a try.

I've heard if your washer has an option to let it spin again after rinse and wash it removes more water than without I don't have a standard washer I have a portable but it does spin dry clothes in the dryer compartment but aren't actually dry it removes 90 percent of the water so a load takes 5 minutes in the real dryer I do have My washer does bout e quarters the size of clothes a standard washer does but a full wash cycle takes 10 minute and 10 to do rinse
@acountrylifeАй бұрын
That's a quick wash and dry cycle. Mine does has the option of an extra spin and I often add that to the cycle.
@samanthashaw8329Ай бұрын
@@acountrylife it's supposed to cut drying time I've heard I don't know I just have a portable washer that hooks up at kitchen sink My big washer is a roper top loader but that thing doesn't agitate locked up the agitator is and is super ancient almost as old as I am 😂

Out of curiosity, how do the cranberries at the bottom of the trailer survive the weight of the cranberries on top? Are they hard enough that they don't get crushed? Or are the berries so light that it doesn't matter?
@acountrylifeАй бұрын
The cranberries are firm enough and being round helps distribute weight so they don’t get crushed.

Harry potter books were great even as an adult! Gita question for you made the chocolate Reese’s pieces cookies page 65 cookbook 1 and everything turned out great but they all fell apart because they were so soft… I had an egg that was double yoke and and added one more cause I’m not sure how to count the double yoke should I have only used the one double yoke instead of both eggs? Where do your cranberries go to? You can be warrens eyes and he can be your ears time for some hearing aids maybe?
@acountrylifeАй бұрын
All I can wonder about is if the cookies had enough time to cool. Using a double yolk + 1 more egg is just what I would’ve done so that seems fine.
