+luis Lopez Hey, thank you very much for your positive feedback. This channel is growing little by little, and am happy to say we've reached over 11 million views. That's not much compared to the more established channels, but its a great start. Keep checking in, I have some ideas that I think will help my viewers very much. Thanks. -Rob

Hi, Rob, I have a question for you. I'm learning one fingerstyle song on my acoustic guitar now and when i hammer on the 11 or higher frets(the higher- the worse) i have very bad sound. It is hard to describe it, but it sounds terrible. My guitar is pretty cheap and I thing that there are problems with bridge/nut or something like that. If you know what the problem is, please tell me how to fix it. Thanks

Hey man I used to have the same problem with one of my older guitars. My problem was the frets were so worn down that when I played it just made an awful sound. Personally I just bought a new one because it seemed like to hard of a fix. I'd recommend you go out a buy a new guitar if you can afford it. There are some really great ones out there from the 200 to 300 dollar range. Anyways hopefully I helped you out a bit. Best of luck friend :)

+Michael Nicholson Hey without actually hearing the sound, I can't make too much of an educated diagnoses. I can say from experience that the upper frets tend to buzz or mute due to warping of the neck or body, which affects the action. If your strings are buzzing, then I would recommend an action adjustment. This could mean adjusting the trust rod, or in more serious cases, elevating the bridge saddle. To do this, stick some pieces of paper or matches under the saddle and see if the problem get better. Are you practicing alot? Do you love playing the guitar? If you answered yes to these questions, then it may be time for you to make an upgrade! Let me know if you need recommendations. -Rob

Wtf ? That gizmo seems a bit unnecessary lol

Definitely unnecessary, but their products have improved a lot since 2016, and tune the guitar up much more quickly and accurately. I could see myself using it as a stage hand, or perhaps as a music store owner. Anyway, I thought I’d show it since guitar gadgets are fun even if they arent a necessity.
