Most of these songs were some of Gojira's quieter songs. I feel that that is one of the things they do so well, balancing the quiet and loud, heavy and melodic. And the ones that weren't so quiet like L'Enfant Sauvage translated perfectly into acoustic. Born in Winter was beautiful too, such an amazing song.

I wonder if Gojira will ever release an acoustic album. The melody is there and Magma was softer than their previous albums, so they might get there in a few more albums. I'll miss heavy Gojira if they do that, but they would put out a great album either way.

I played Double Bass for school orchestra and Drums in a metal band. The guitar is a different beast. I love nylon classical and have had the most luck at learning it. Maybe it can help you to get the wider neck, my friends who play acoustic or electric don't like it because cords are harder to hit but its easier to learn scales and such.
@ameenswais16694 жыл бұрын
this is such a gem in so many ways. the fact that you're going really really old school is just a testament to how much you appreciate this band and giving it the acoustic tribute it deserves. and of course, it sounds amazing! GIMME MORE!
