An oldie but a goody as they used to say. I hear Joe Jackson playing Steppin Out and I think of big hair, tight jeans, and some radio station with Casey Kasem dj’ing the hits of the week on a Sunday morning. I think I heard this song a zillion times listening to my mother’s Jazzercise classes back in the #80s and I loved the riff and the slick bassline.
