MWAHAHAHAHAHAHAAA!!!!! NOW LIFE IS MEANINGLESS AND DEATH FAST APPROACHES!!!! Are we ready to burn in hell?!👿😈👿😈👿😈 Absolutely not. The above was just a joke but I understand. I liked it when things were back then, no mental madnesses. No extreme political manifestos. I feel everybody in Capitol Hill is just tired. That this next generation of adults aren't going to be very promising as the previous ones.

I was an oldies fan from the very beginning of the 80s. I never became a huge fan of 80s music in general but so much of it was better than the 90s or any of the garbage since. Some songs like this one still have a pre-80s flavor although the beat is definitely 80s. Same goes for a lot of Billy Joel tunes and some other artists, Jackson Browne, etc.

The original is kind of not at all a long song. I really like the song. I first heard it while i worked 3rd shift at lowes, stocking probably paint and flooring, hearing only the most accentuated lyrics, and a vague melody. "GROOVin. SteppinOoouut" and i thought to myself about this NIN song i downloaded off of napster years ago, its a song with a sample of PSA type media about euphemisms for taking acid. "Grooving" and "stepping out" are mentioned. To top it off, into the night, into the light. Rolling around in a roadside ditch until dawn.
