Thanks for a clear concise presentation without a lot of ‘tech’ terms. I can take this to the church finance committee and let you do the talking!! God Bless You!

What are the surface areas ? Are they the right and left side walls ?
@AcousticFields3 жыл бұрын
Walls have surface areas that produce reflections. You must treat certain percentages of these surface areas to mange reverberation times.

My church has events in our cafe. It has carpeted floors, dropped ceilings and the acoustics are so dead. When I clap, it sits right there. What can we do?
@AcousticFields5 жыл бұрын
M, Remove piece by piece the sound absorption materials to increase the reverberation times within the space. If you can not do that, you can add diffusion.

Will diffusion work to eliminate feedback in a Church's PA if the offending frequency is targeted? For the last few tradition churches with pipe organ and choirs, I don't think foam is an option.
@AcousticFields5 жыл бұрын
M, No, diffusion will make your "feedback" issue worse. Use the proper rates and levels of absorption on the offending surface areas.

What’s feeding back, the speaker or a vocalist? Two ways to eliminate feedback. 1. Turn down the gain and move microphone closer to the source 2. Increase the volume of the source.

I need goods advise for our church we have height concrete wall 10 meter with length 63m and our ceiling material plywood.. and we have big echo problem, do we need wall acoustic diffuser or absorption? What’s best solution? Or do we need change our ceiling material to acoustic material? Like boreal echo stop with rockwool absorption ? Thank you
@AcousticFields5 жыл бұрын
Y, Use absorption that has the proper rates and levels for music and voice. Music and voice are the "products" of a church. You must match the rate and level to frequency and amplitude. You will have to cover 60 - 70 % of surface areas.

M, We offer special programs for schools and churches. We waive our design fees and provide discounts on purchases of our technology. We offer DIY build drawings to them so they can build their own products to reduce labor costs. We then supply the technologies. Most schools and churches require our open celled foam technology.
