One of the beer best KZbin channels. My only wish is you would post more often (including your photos). Thank you for making this video… I had no idea this lens even existed.

I searched this lens and I saw one copy with a 20,500 USD price tag...I guess I have to stick to a R4M or an external viewfinder😓

Very interesting! Even the Leica Pocket Book does not mention this lens version with goggles. Definitely very rare, never heard of it before - likely very few prototypes of this 21/2.8 ASPH with goggles were made. Would be great if you disclose the price you paid for it!

thanks for the video Jeremy, interesting setup but I would not change a 21mm I consider perfect in all regards: my 21mm 3.4 super-angulon: it’s superb in everything that matters to me: size, ergonomics, image quality and build quality. And the f3.4 aperture doesn’t bother me at all (I usually shoot hp5/fomapan 400 at ASA 800).

The super-angulon is great!

Sorry, and completely off topic, but seeing that you had experience with ilfotec HC, I shoot on hp5 and push it +1 stop, but in development, the results yielded under exposed high contrast images.. I'm not sure if my development time is off but I use ilfotec 1+31 at 20C, and develop pushed +1 for 9:30 minutes. Could it be an indicator of old developer? I've had it for 2 years now kept at room temperature, however when I don't push my film, it turns out fine. Is my development time too long? Thanks for any insight!

Yes they are!

@@antnguyen I would try with 7:30 min instead! This is what I am doing with HC-110 dil B. (similar developer) and my negatives come out great

@ thanks mate! I was gonna just start experimenting, but great that I have a baseline to start with.
