Too big wingovers leading into the M flip means you got to stop the spin at exactly 180 or your weightshifted with pendulum energy... thus weightshift to L did the damage tho the cause was ill timed exit from too big wingover... So despite getting nice backfly and steading the wing your pendulum energy went into roll yaw twist and it locks weightshifted by 3x twistlok then the wing actually begins to spin in backfly... sadly not undoing the twist lok but continuing to twist up. Deploy hard back and down when spiraling in gentle spiral.

the wing continued to heli "not perfectly but not really spin"...anyway your right it spun-up into big twist loc

very close to solving it...center your weight in the twist up so mallions are symetric ...you stayed in parachutal nice... but it was the left weightshift that caused the left tip drag (left side of the wing closer to backfly) and hence left forward twistloc...but it is hard to remember when your just still in misty mode 2 things when u rotate: "chicken position": brakes under your nose and ass in center...heheheheh...stay high n fly dry bro...thx for post

Bro perhaps you not expecting to twist but actually with larger energy entry, twist is common. So with this in mind... as u BEGIN yaw twisting 1.) backfly - u did 2.) center yourself - u didn’t Then you got a chance to “release pull” the front hand ... you just tried pulling on it when “locked to pull” but a “release pull” of front hand can correct twistloc of the parachutal wing by heli the twist out. Doctors rules. 1.) tailslide symmetrically 2.) center so mallions are symmetric 3.) Release pull (10cm) front hand and wait (while kicking if u like). If your not in symmetric tail-slide or centred symmetric - then must deploy instantly before the autorotation monster eats ur reserve.

Actually I assume the risk was pretty low in my case, the glider was in a quite stable negative spin with very low sink rates while my body was quite static without much rotation under the glider.

Yes maybe that could have worked. I decided for rescue because from a left spin, it ended up in a spin to right because I didn't stop it in a proper flyback, just slightly too high brakes. I wouldn't have made it to the landing anyway.
