0:40 is a hotel, not a factory. It’s designed to be high up so you can open your window or door to see high below. I’ve been to the top floor of one of those, and it’s scary.

As a person who does not have acrophobia, I’ve always loved natural heights and old staircases. There’s something so mysteriously enticing about long, winding staircases (especially ones in ancient castles and cathedrals) that makes me want to climb all the way up and down them. I’ve always loved going up risky climbs on the sides of hills and mountains, I’m a bit of a mountain goat, and walking up winding paths to see the scenery below and around the cliff, and feel the wind and pressure that comes with reaching a summit, as well as the sense of glory that you have scaled something and now sit atop it like a king at his throne. What I do not like, however, are pits of darkness. Nothing could make me like an unending hole of eerie silence and pitch black stretching deeper and deeper into the earth, like a bridge between the sky and the underworld. That was the only time I felt truly afraid and uneasy while looking at these pictures, seeing those patches of darkness staring up at you from below. I don’t know if that’s another phobia in of itself, or whether I simply am afraid of the dark like many people are, but that was the only thing in this video that really made me feel off-kilter.

Acrophobia is different for me and it’s weird.. I will explain it, When I see images of acrophobia on the internet, I don’t fear it... But when I see REAL heights in reality, it hits me right there. I get scared of heights in reality but not on the internet or games.

Some fears are not scary when you know your safe but trypophobia for example you can get scared from anywhere as long as you see closely tight packed holes while with heights you watch the video feel uneasy and in real life it’s a lot worse

it's so crazy to me how people are horribly scared of heights. Like I mean I get it, but my sister literally has panic attacks and she screams like she's being tortured. My whole family is scared of heights but not as bad as my sister, while I'm over here wanting to go skydiving. I like being up high instead of being on the ground. I like seeing everything around me all at once instead of only being able to see things that are eye-level.

1:20 this reminds me of the place I stayed at in rome. The elevator couldn't handle a lot of weight so the rest my family went up in it while I carried our luggage up the stairs with my dad. There were multiple floors so when I looked down I instantly got a feeling of fear from seeing how high up I was.
