Across The Alps GR5 Sampler 700km in 32 Days

In the July 2022 heatwave I started hiking the GR5 from Thonon Les Bains near Geneva, through The Vanoise on GR55 and The Mercantour on the GR52 to Menton on the Mediterranean coast. This is a short sampler of that journey.

I always remember my firs time up a cable car in the alps, stepping out and seeing a marmot right in-front of me... happy days.
