Berwyn Mountains Backpacking 5 Days

This was a trek I devised starting from Wrexham and intending to walk to Machynlleth over the Berwyn Mountains and Cadair Idris. However, I decided to call a halt at Dolgellau and skip Cadair Idris due to deteriorating weather.

Hi there, such an interesting route and I followed along on the map but got a little list coming down into Bala. I love the Aran mountains they never fail to impress. Thanks for sharing and ATB.

Thanks for your comments. I followed a part of the Mary Jones Walk and the Cross Britain Way when passing Bala Lake. A pleasant terrace walk.
