Humble tribute to eloquent Dilip...Shocked to know, he is no more...May Supreme Father bless Sadgati to the great soul..... ..growing up with his regular writeups on new Bikes (long long ago, pre Internet age, in1984 to 90 .....still remember his description of his bent Yamaha RX-100 Handle (very very new that time , and he had one for the Test for Car & Bike) as ...Handle designed by Sunil Gavaskar...What was that? Both Sunil and Dilip were residents of same Building and when Dilip was not around, Legend Sunil while inspecting the side-standed RX-100, dropped it and the Handle was bent...Sunil somehow mad it stand but was apologetic about it...However, the large hearted Dilip thanked him for the new design and probably collected the handle from Yamaha as a sovenir...He had put the pictures those days..We the readers were thrilled to have the two legends filling the pages with such stories, in Car & Bike.

I'm proud to have known him as my Guru as well as a very close friend. We did a few trips together and also went "comping" :) He will be in our hearts forever!
