ACRYLIC Cow Painting! How To Paint on WOOD! By: Annie Troe

Tag along as I paint this Hereford Cow for the @ArtistsCooperativeGalleryOmaha entry way! I work out the shapes and some values for the first layer of Paint. This is on a piece of plywood, 16" x 16", Clear gesso. I pop in with paint colors and thoughts along the way. ENJOY!

I enjoy your tutorials so much and your traceables are amazing girl. You mystify me with shading and your colors. Confuse me but it works!! I am not there where you are yet but have been painting for about 6 months. Wheelchair bound and time on my hands has been a journey of what I can do. Thanks for sharing so much talent and you are so down to earth. I am afraid I would be somewhat "big headed" with your talent. So grateful for your hints and help.

Hey Cindy! 👋😍 I am THRILLED you like the videos and traceables! The videos are getting better with practice. My shading & colors have really improved over the last year to 2 years! I have had a lot more time to paint which is a huge help. I have also been focusing on pushing the values (the lights and the darks) to make for more dramatic paintings. Some one smart said "Values do the work, color gets the credit". I REALLY appreciate your very kind words!!! Painting is like learning a new language, takes interest, time and practice. I watch artist that are better than I am, fun to learn new things. So glad you are enjoying painting and it works for you and your wheel chair, keep in touch 🎨🤗
