I like the different heights of the mountains and how the smaller trees fade into the background. The incorporation of colors on the mountain really allows them to come to life. The smaller trees on the mountain add interest along with the snow and rocks. Amazing how you can explain why and what you are accomplishing as you are painting! Not easy! Decided to dry brush bricks in the living room instead of white wash. So having some work done here. I picked the right person!

I like this long version very much! And none of your words is too much said! For take it seriously it's so important getting to know perspective and all those things you talk about. On the other side, if there is something I already know yet, it is very well refreshing it and put it once again in my mind, and hopefully keep there throughout the painting and further. I'm going to give it a try, thinking of learning a lot more. I really love your kind of painting and your patiently teaching as well!!

I just love this painting drawn out of your imagination. I remember, my senior year in high school, creating a painting in art class using pastels. The teacher put it on the wall, but I never did get it back. It was of a stone house using many colors. I loved it. Oh well, more creating ahead. TY David~

I could watch this all day with the feeling I am going to enter in the beautiful landascape.I have got some books of you and I really would like to buy the heritage paints and the brushes but the shipping to Germany is just too high, I would prefer to spend this amount of money buying more supplies. Perhaps one day I will travel to the USA and buy it as soon I arrive there!!😘😘

I really have to find someone who can bring me your Heritage acrylics from the US, because I only have a few from that shop in France, where they only sell a small part of your products!!! Impossible for someone in Portugal to order from the US, because tax duties are huge!!! Thank you so much for this fantastic lesson. Can't wait for part two!!!

Lovin this but I have a question about using your imagination. Some say always have a reference of some kind as you don't know enough to paint from your mind. No question really just confused a bit. I don't know enough to whack one up out of my head Dave
