It's gorgeous Annie. 😍I love wood panels when I do mixed media. Love canvas as well. I paint on anything I can lay my hands on when I am out of canvas or panels lol. I need to stock up. As I live in a very small village far from artshops 😄

Great job, love it. I really like painting on wood panels also. I usually have them cut to size at HD or I stretch my own canvasses. I kind of find therapeutic. lol. Did you name the cow? I think she'd look nice in a barnwood frame. I'd send a picture of a few of my cow paintings, but I don't see a way of sending pictures. Oh well. Great job, love it. Think I'll go have a glass of milk now. Bye 😊

When you say that you glaze things what do you mix to glaze thank you I do enjoy your video’s I will give it a try
@AnnieTroe2 жыл бұрын
Hello! 👋 Glazing for me is when the color is transparent so that when painted on, the color below shows through. Take a peek at your paint bottle and see if it gives you an idea of how transparent the color your working with is. Most of my yellows are already quite transparent, so I can use the color out of the tube to 'glaze over' what I have already painted. -- To make a color more transparent for glazing I use either water, or matte medium (link at the end). I like these because it doesn't make my acrylic paint sticky and dries mat like the rest of my paints. Some people use gloss medium, extenders etc. (read the bottles to see what the product recommends). Hope this helps a bit! 🎨🤗 --- www.amazon.com/Liquitex-Professional-Matte-Medium-8-Ounce/dp/B000IYWYNE/ref=sr_1_2?crid=3MWZZTOUBO84I&keywords=liquitex%2Bmatte%2Bmedium&qid=1660154209&sprefix=liquitex%2Bmat%2Bmedium%2Caps%2C76&sr=8-2&th=1 This video show layers. of painting. At 18 min you can see how the red glazes over the color with out any water or medium on the dry color below. I come back and glaze with some yellow as the pear progresses. kzbin.info/www/bejne/h5K5fpR-rpKBd7c My popular cloud video show Lots of different ways to glaze with whites kzbin.info/www/bejne/r2nPgYl6fsmAqKs

I love cows and stopped eating them because they're ALL slaughtered very young. the natural lifespan of a cow is 20-25 years but the average slaughter age is 18 MONTHS OLD. over 30 billion young cows are slaughtered every year fro food.
