My favourites for ACT like terrain are Heidenau K60 Ranger (using them on my Husky 701 Enduro) and Bridgestone AX41 (using them on my Triumph Tiger 900 Rally Pro). Both work amazing on- & off-road.

You seem to recommend the Karoo 3. I can agree with this, but having ridden one for about 9000km on the rear of my Tuareg 660 this summer, there is one big caveat: When worn down below about 50%, the Karoo 3 still performed well on dry roads, but it had virtually no grip on wet tarmac.

Yeah when it’s gets a bit old it becomes slippery on wet … but in general a good tire for both on - off road …

I did the ACT UK last month on my Triumph Tiger 900 Rally Pro. It was fitted with Mitas E07+ tyres. This tyre is perfect in dry conditions Offroad and gives a stable feeling on tarmac aswell. Do seem to last about 10.000 Km on mixed surfaces. Only problem, as I found out= In rain conditions a lot of parts of the UK ACT, they are not nobly enough. No grip on clay or mud at all. Fell down a couple of times quiet hard, damagged the bike and my ego. Next time i will try the E09 on the rear instead

Umm .., E07 should work they don’t have a middle Profile .. but yeah the gaps between the profile blocks might be to tight for mud. We had good experience with the karroo‘s but also TKC80‘s Hope you still enjoyed this short adventure! ?

Will be riding the ACT Portugal in one month time and going to try out the Dunlop Trailmax Mission 50/50 tyres 👍🏼

@@alrightdave6135 ironically had to go with a set of brand new Karoo 4's as the front dunlop never arrived in time. 🤦🏻‍♂️

Hard to say lots of good tires out there. We use metzeler karroo but I think all medium nobby tires will work ..

I live on the wrong side of Europe, always have to ride a lot of km's to get to the funstuff...witch is not good for the tires

Doing the ACT Pyrennees in August with a 1200 gsa . I am hesitating between continental TKC70 rocks (currently on my bike) , or a set of Michelin anakee wild ? any opinions?

I ride my GSA 1250 with TKC70 and ok if no mud. As soon as there is mud you will suffer a lot I would suggest at least TKC80
