Any idea where any of these trucks are these days if there are even any still around? Most of them if not all are probably scrapped by now. But it would be interesting to know if any are still around, these trucks were my childhood. I remember there was an old 4x2 ACT recycling truck in the Cleanaway yard until 2016 but has since been removed. I miss these trucks so much.

Got no idea where any might have ended up working afterwards, and if I do know of any locations, can't think of them at the moment. Highly doubt any are still at work today! However I know some waste equipment business had a 4x2 and 6x4 garbage truck at their property for years, check out the older dates for 26 Plasser Cr in North St Marys on Google street view.

@@AussieGarboI just had a look. So sad to see it just sitting there slowly rotting away over the years. I remember when I was about 5 years old, I was at my grandparents house watching one of these trucks. As he approached our bin, when he went to grab it the lifter malfunctioned and squirted oil absolutely everywhere because of what I assume was a hydraulic hose leak or something like that. They had to call in a spare to finish the run. I also remember driving around with my mum when I was about the same age looking for trucks, and we came across one parked in a suburban street on a patch of grass with it’s lifter arm completely removed sitting on the ground with a team of people working on it. Seems like these trucks were unreliable as hell and always had things going wrong! But of course these were definitely very exciting and fascinating experiences to witness as a 5 year old who loved garbage trucks!

Hey Mitch what is the fleet number on this truck?

Hey Mitch Can you please get some footage of the veolia accos on waste and recycling and a Jj richards acco on green waste?
@BassCoast_Garbo912Ай бұрын
For the 500th time he has a job and he can't just go down there to get footage of them. Doing your job is more important than going to film a truck. I'm sure mitch is getting annoyed by how many times you ask him to go film places.

Firstly, if you read the video descriptions you will see I mentioned the truck numbers in both uploads. Secondly, no I won't be getting the Veolia or Richards ACCOs over in the ACT, you can search up videos posted by others of these trucks if you want to see them. Lastly, please stop asking me to video specific trucks or upload certain videos, I get what I want when it suits me and do things when the time is right. Just be happy I've captured what I have and appreciate you'll see the action when I decide to share it. I hope you can comprehend this info, but time will tell... I've been saying this same stuff to people for years now!

Finally! After months 😂One of my favourite contracts of all time, loved the fleet they had put together. Did you manage to get the Euro 3 series 2 on film? aswell as either of those Dennis Eagles showcased in your yard departure video? Is this video also shot in the Chifley/Curtin area? Streets look very similar even though thats literally the whole layout of Canberra. Once again good seeing another one of these videos, how many more do you have of these trucks? Cheers

I recall somebody asked before when I'll upload this stuff, now I know it was you, happy to finally provide it! The only domestic trucks I got in Canberra were the official Hinos, sadly didn't achieve any collection footage of any others that were around. These latest videos are the final videos I have to post from the ACT. I managed to pinpoint some of these clips were taken off McCormack St in Curtin.

@@AussieGarboyea thanks for posting these, you have any plans to head there before veolia wraps up? Few interesting spares they run around there, such as an ex shoalhaven recycler, ex penrith 944 I believe, ex eurobodalla 86, and for jjs some euro 4 that sounds really nice, and aswell a euro 5 that lid flips pretty much every bin.

I've got no plans to get anymore videos in the ACT, neither the existing or future fleets, my interest level is a flat zero. Done my time getting the proper cool trucks on camera while they were around, those days are over now.....
