A remarkably good, very Savoyish, well-sung, well-acted - especially the chorus - production, Far better than many Iolanthes i have seen ( or been in ).

tolloller is delightfully camp. with no sarcasm intended there; he's wonderful. (and so's mountararat, which is exactly what i want to see from the Best Friends.)

Very good production, close to I imagine they would've done it in the days of old. I've seen a lot of haphazard versions of this, but this is overall much better.

Enjoyable production almost traditional. One of the mens chorus was outstandingly Camp. Phyllis what a strong suprano voice. Stephen to overacting a pleasant voice could have been stronger. The fairy Queen Excellent. As were the other principles. Strong ladies chorus. And. for only six mens chorus well done. When can we see Act two? Hopefully it has been recorded. And not to forget the Superb Orchestra. Have been in and or played for nearly all of the. G and S. Operettas. Done The Yeomen of the Guard four times. Singing wise my favourite. Hate to see G and S messed around with. TRADITIONALIST. Saw a. production of Pinafore once set on a Submarine. Sacrilege i walked out.
