Fan of this channel and your work. I wanted to ask about a comment you made on an older video, a reply to someone’s question regarding not being a resident of LA and if commuting would be an option-to which you answered telling him moving to LA to pursue acting is not a good idea since it’s a hard industry. I just want to know if you share the same perspective now if one is to put the time and effort to master the craft, is it worth seeking an agent at that point or are the chances really that slim? Would aiming to be a working actor be a more realistic goal that could eventually propel you to a roll in a film? Thank you and sorry about the lengthy message!

I always thought Robert Downey Jr suited films like the judge but it's interesting to see how he has adopted to play Ironman lol

I have some questions that you may or may not be able to answer that have nothing to do with acting itself but are acting related. By any chance, do you have any knowledge on how to become a Movie, Show, or Cinematic Universe creator like Cobra Kai creators Josh Heald, Jon Hurwitz, and Hayden Schlossberg, Mandalorian creator Jon Favreau, or MCU creator Kevin Feige? Do you need to be an actor in order to work your way up to project creator? Does one need a college degree in story writing? Is there some kind of auditioning process for writers like actors where writers can audition to get on a movie or tv show writing crew and then eventually work their way up to show creator from there or am I way off?

If you’re in the states, the LA Times usually posts a listing every year or if you do a google search you will find some answers. The important thing to realize, is that not every drama school is the same and one school may be better for you and not another. It’s about finding one that fits your needs.

Am I the only one where I feel like im just a natural? I have yet to take classes but im told im really good!

Not everyone needs classes and yes some people are naturals. I’ll even say that sometimes when one is a “natural” and they seek training (especially the wrong kind) they can become too rigid and tense. Now I cannot say whether you are a natural or not, but I will say that even the best naturals have gotten coached/training at some point in time (ex: Matthew McConaughey & Will Smith). You must find what works for you at this point. Now there is nothing wrong with being a smart actor. Meaning, even if you can act, have you gained knowledge on the business? Do you know how to act on camera depending on your framing? Do you know how to tell your story onstage to a 1,000 people (if theater is what you want to do?) Note that I am not advocating or detracting you away from classes. Rather I am giving you two sides of the coin. You MUST decide for yourself what will work best for you. If you think classes or coaching will help, than get it. If you think it will make your acting too rigid, than hold off from it. Always remember you can test classes out too. Just because you take a class for a day doesn’t mean you need to stay in it. Hope this helps 👍🏼

@@TheActorsAcademy Thank you! I didn't expect such a thoughtful response. I was just confused because everyone always says it can take years to become a really good actor. Me personally it just all came natural, I find it easy to get into character and switch from emotion to emotion adding certain body languages that matches the emotion. I'm odviously not perfect and still have things to work on and I'm for sure taking classes to work on my weak points and improve my strong points even more. Plus you need it on your resume!
