I have taken a few specific commercial workshops and you, in :13 minutes, gave better and more valuable advice than I have had in 2-days of ‘workshopping.’ Thank you. BTW, curious as to your opinion of casting directors who conduct acting workshops. I suspect they’re good at telling us what directors might currently want, which is nice info to have, but they’re not actors - and that makes a difference. Thanks again.

Thanks so much Sonya! Glad it was helpful. I do think casting director workshops CAN be helpful, however I've seen a few that have generic advice as well, and are just looking for a paycheck. The other problem is a lot of them have their own opinion about what they want and their advice may differ.

I thought casting networks provided commercials for non-union but I have not seen any. I mostly see industrial projects, reality tv, or real this/that…
