Hey Brandon! I really hope you will not give up on reactions to Angelina due to some fans reactions. For one thing, she deserves to have her music publicly discussed. And secondly, for evey fan who is intentionality nasty or threatening there are thousands who have the whole situation in some semblance of perspective. I think that many fans believe that they know how she would feel or how she would think about any situation and then believe they have to react as they perceive she would want them to. I would offer that she is an intelligent young woman who can fight her own battles as she thinks best. It is hard to see a young child grow up, even in a time compressed way if you are a newer fan, and not feel some protective instinct, more so when she has shared with us of herself in as emotional a way as music. She has done many exceptional and kind things for others in her young life and she touches most of us deeply with her music as well by her humanity, charity, humility, gratitude, and stated desire to spread love and positivity. so it almost seems like we know her as some kind of extended family member even though we don't. So that's where the intensity of some fans responses comes from. Please respond with another positive attribute, grace, and the vast majority of us will as well.

Her grandfather was very close and he told her and this is why he said when I die sweetheart I’ll be on the moon you’re gonna think I’ll be OK and you can’t see me but I’ll be there. Yes it’s very heavy on so it’s been a 2018 passed away, but it still hurts her and her grandmother got very sick. Thought she gonna pass away but she’s OK. She recovery had a lot of grief

Angelina Jordan is a young singer who has captivated millions of listeners with her soulful hypnotic voice. One of her most emotional performances is the song Million Miles, which she dedicated to her late step-grandfather. In the music video, we see glimpses of her childhood memories with him, such as holding hands and walking together. The contrast between the joyful past and the painful present is heartbreaking. Angelina sings with such sincerity and depth that we can feel her grief and longing for her step-grandfather. It is a beautiful tribute, but also a very difficult one to watch more than once.

This is her right she wrote the word yourself and lyrics. Oh region start a producers produce. This is called Stargate. They produce all her music now from her public records. She wrote the lyrics. It’s her own writing, and she went to the studio recording, but she was crying about what you were doing, and they knew they had something special on her to sing a song.

Just saw a video in which you asked about Angelina, "is she tall"? Yes, she has been very tall since she was an early teen. Last info I saw was that she is 6'1". She is also thin which makes her visually look smaller than she actually is.

The scenes are about memories I had, and going back to flashbacks. I think that the simplicity of the music video makes it really beautiful because it lets the music talk instead. " 👣💯 *AJ* 💯👣

Brandon, I greatly appreciate you took the time to revisit "Million Miles". Hopefully everyone learned how to be respectful with their comments after your first analysis of this highly emotional song. Angelina's grandmother Mery, seems to always be involved with each music video. Mery is a wonderful painter and poet. Angelina is proving herself to be an artist of the highest caliber. Art is subjective and each of us is welcome to our opinions, but we should always be respectful of each other's opinions. I encourage every angel to compose comments which would make Angelina proud.

Before I finish watching your reaction and analysis I thought I would add… Angelina’s early music videos were produced AND directed by her Grandma Mery Zamani. Mery and Angelina are like two people sharing one soul. Mery is the person who introduced Angelina to classic jazz music when she was TWO years old. Angelina has said of her Grandma: “…she’s my inspiration, my best friend, my everything.” Like Angelina, Mery was a child prodigy, excelling at poetry and art when she was about six. Angelina also has shared with us that she really enjoyed helping create the story boards with her Grandma for her early music videos. Angelina is THAT involved in the creative process.

Hi Brandon. Very interesting analysis. From what I've read, AJ did the story board for this video and AJ and her Grandma Mery actually created the artwork and animation for the lyric video for this. It must have been a healing experience for both of them in dealing with the grief of their loss. I know that this song and all the videos have helped me in dealing with the loss of my wife of fifty years. Others have had a simlar experience. This is the highest goal of great art and Million Miles has succeeded spectacularly in this.❤

Hello Brandon and welcome back to Angelina. There is so much you have missed! I enjoyed your insightful comments regarding the video and Angelina's part in it. Yes she was involved in creating the video as she is in the arrangements of all of her vocal performances. Her talent goes far beyond singing. All of your comments were well taken and I can see the validity in each one. The only critique that I have is that in any art, with this being an example, all is subjective. There are so many acting directors and producers that if you show them a video, each would have different thoughts on pros and cons. So any positives or negatives you outlined during your presentation would likely generate different opinions from different directors. My opinion is that it is not black and white. No criticism whatsoever, just my thoughts. Peace out.

When she sang the studio version I notice she closed her eyes which I think that takes her to a different place in her mind. She sings a lot from her emotional brain. She had candles in the studio. But they still used the same music. There is another version with with art work. I also like the version she sang live in Norway. I didn’t think I would like that version because it was so slow down, & different instruments, but it was really fantastic! She collaborates with her Director, which I think is between her grandmother and her uncle. I have no doubt she is really singing the words a cappella for the video.

The video is beautiful and you can see her little sister and uncle playing her younger self and her grandfather. Angelina's talent was obviously not acting and I don't think the physical aspect of it necessarily came easily to her, having absolutely mastered the ability to communicate intense and genuine emotion through her voice alone, although her kind eyes have always communicated a lot of that emotion as well. But now her stage presence has really improved to become quite impressive. The musical arrangement of the live studio version is better and more emotional, in my opinion. But man, that song gets to me every time. Most people certainly can relate to it.

Great, thanks! From the time she was little, singing for Angelina has been about her inner world. Whether it's cerebral or emotional she was focused on creating the sounds she wanted. This was still obvious in her first 'live in studio' for Republic - "Million Miles"! The process of learning to deliver acting along with her vocals has been slow, but I'd love to see you react to "Now I'm The Fool" from her EP released last summer ("Old Enough"). She's really come a long way!

I'm an ANGELina -fan, but I'm not fanatical..,.. :P I heard/saw this song first through the lyrics-video, a very Artsy/dreamy animated thing. Loved it❣ It also helped me immensly in a period of my life, loosing several people close to me, and dealing w grief. I was at first a bit disappointed in the style of the video, but it has grown on me. However, I feel that people totally new to ANGELina, might not get "her".. Anyhow, I find it much much better than the "Shield" video.... even for me that's a total miss, unfortunately. My favourite version of this song has always been the first one, the lyric video, because of the amazing use of Grandma Mery's beautiful artwork, but also because of that precise moment you highlighted at the end of your reaction. For me, the "we're a million miles apart" coming in *underneath* those high notes soaring into the ether is an emotional knife to the heart, an effect that is not possible in all the live and concert versions, good though they are. I was holding my breath for a bit there when I knew you were going to discuss that moment in the video, until I knew it was the visual presentation that was the issue. I completely agree with what you said.

I’m sorry for the negative comments you got. You really don’t need to give them that much time. My reaction to your analysis of this video is that I’m here for Angelina’s singing-and you’re here to critique the technical aspects of the music video. I love the studio version because I see Angelia singing. I feel the emotion of the lyrics through her voice and her facial expressions. In this video, that’s lost to me. There’s clearly no intent to make it look like lip synching. It’s a very nice visual tribute to her grandfather, and I surely don’t mean to denigrate that, but I think Angelina is the best singer I’ve ever heard. Trying to embellish her singing with visuals just isn’t necessary for me. I get it that you’re an acting coach, but I get exactly what I need from Angelina by watching her sing. I’ll admit I love her video of Suspicious Minds, but there’s a completely different vibe going on there.
