Polly from Texas here! My two favorite parts of this message: your perspective on God telling David he’s “already been acting like a mad man, just keep the act going and I’ll get you out of here”. 😂 And the part of the message where you remind us that when we humble ourselves and ask God, He can get us out of the messes of our own making. Leaning on His grace and mercy in my life. Thank you, Pastor David!

When we run away from the Lord and His ways, we tend to get ourselves into a heap of trouble.

Our best and carnal ways - end up a lot like David here, running thru the devil's playground of minefields.

God almighty has a sense of humor. When you life is endangered, priorities change, could that be God? In accordance with this word and 1 samuel 21:13-15 in the name and blood of Jesus Christ, amen and hallelujah!

In our craziness ... when we run away from the tormenter/enemy trying to survive, God in His mercy does 2 things here: (1) He shows David who he really is, a sinner, worthy of being put to death (2) declared insane - for it makes no sense to continue in sin. It is an act of mercy. Until we come to an end of ourselves, we seek no deliverance, nor even know our need.
