I WISH I had seen this when it was out! Hearing how Best Day Ever was incorporated made me tear up. It made an otherwise unremarkable episode (where the song came from), very meaningful in terms of the plot of this Broadway play. (:

Me and my Dad who doesn't speak english got the chance to watch this amazing musical together one saturday morning with german subtitles because of a Spongebob event day Nickelodeon had! And just coincidentally I've watched the whole thing about a month earlier here on yt and I immediately had to show my Dad some passages and he absolutely loved it but was annoyed because he didn't understand the lyrics too much. So awesome 👏

@@FraserOliver it really is ! And my Dad usually HATES musicals lol but he absolutely loved it! He absolutely loved the character and set design and how creative all of it was with all the callbacks here and there to the original show and the spot on character impressions. And his favorite number also was Squidward‘s amazing „I’m not a loser“ performance man .. perfection!
