thank you Komada, really appreciate your response. that's the trouble - I can remember how good his Ziti was but not the taste - looked for recipes online but none of them look close. and then thought of trying to create his materpiece is even silly - nothing will compare. as for the rest - thank you, thank you, thank you. ♥ I have my good days and my bad - the silliest things remind me of him.

You're right Scott wanted me to be happy, as I wanted all good things for him. ♥ yeah same age, born in the same year - him in Canada, me in New Zealand (though as I said he grew up in New York (he was always tell me the opening scene from the Sopranos was his neighbourhood). We met online in 2013 - neither of us looking for a relationship - let alone with someone on other side of world - I went and lived with him in Canada in 2013, he came and lived with me in New Zealand in 2014. he had Crohns Disease, 3 surgeries, lots of heavy medication for pain over the years, turned to drink when his ex-wife left him taking his daughter thousands of miles away (she'd been having an affair with one of his best friends). Had PTSD, anxiety, depression from working Canadian military for 12 years post 9/11 - training troops in urban combat before active combat (every death haunted him). died of complications from Crohns, liver and kidney failure. born in same year we had so much in common - same cultural references - best American & British culture but with our own culture as well so always learning new stuff. He took his cooking very seriously - very Italian neighborhood growing up then bonded with his ex father-in-law, who was Italian immigrant - spent the whole day cooking - like his Ziti - would get up early to make the sauce from scratch and let it simmer all day. sorry to go on. this helps. sorry.

homer wisdom I know right? It exceeded my expectations. I was pretty iffy when the song Let me Breathe came out cause it was pretty wack but I was blown away by nearly every other track. It brought back that old blue chips vibe while at the same time sounded fresh and contemporary. A huge improvement over Mr. Wonderful which wasn't bad but only had like 3 tracks that I can still bump to.
