The spandex looks amazing. I thought they stopped making that material after III. A beautiful purchase. I used to try and make my own when I was a kid and try to get it accurate. My Grandma who was a seemstress helped out. Shame we didn't get to see you wearing it.

That's awesome. I'd love to make one but I don't have those sewing skills. The spandex isn't the same as the original Superman the movie material but a great substitute. Thanks for the comment!

The details shown of your costume, I think you have the “Gold Edition” suit. You may have paid the “Silver Edition” price but, there’s features to your costume that aligns with their top tier “Gold Edition.”

Yeah I'm not sure. I paid for the silver suit but Action Costumes has stated they added some of those features to their silver edition. They were gone awhile so I think this is their updated and improved version.

@@ChrisBoshProps Well, they’ve definitely upgraded their “Silver Edition” suit. For example…, the inner stitching “Line” seen on the belt loops were ONLY visible on the “Gold Edition” suit. The cape and suit shoulder “snaps” were ONLY reserved for the “Gold Edition” suit. The boots that you have, has all the markings/telltale signs of the “Gold Edition” suit boots. The only differences (that I’ve noticed) between your “Silver Edition” vs. the “Gold” is, the neckline. The “Gold Edition” suit’s neckline has angles. Quick question…, are there replica ‘Bermans & Nathans’ tags stitched on your cape and inside your suit. If not, that’s a feature ‘Action Costumes’ is still reserving for the “Gold Edition” suit. The fabric used between the two suits may be different, as well. Either way…, your suit is absolutely STUNNING!!!

How do you keep the mannequin standing without the stick from the leg pegged to the board?

I scrapped that part and don't use it. I just prop the mannequin up against a corner in my game room and it looks like it's freestanding. Thanks for the comment.

That costume looks to be neither. That looks like it was a custom Superman costume of sorts. It reminded me of the TV-Series Superboy costume at first glance.

It really depends on what suit your looking at. No suit in the movie was identical and on some of the suits the loops are wider apart. The mannequin is also too skinny for the suit, which makes them look wider apart as well.
