Wow! I had no idea you could sculpt a figure like this, using foil! I have a cool sculpted paper mache surfer dog that I've wanted to recreate (think surf mambo style design) it's not quite the same in how you've done this, but it's given me ideas on how I could create one similar, and in my own style, so thank you! AHA! I know about sculpting aluminum foil, but then adding paper-mache just wasn't working for me. Now, seeing this, once one gets the paper on once, one can overlap and work along the sculpture! Brilliant!

I have used plastic bags with a similar technique before! They make beautiful texture when you twist them. I think Elmer's glue and water for the paste would work, but there is also a material called Paverpol that works great with fabrics and other materials.
