action packed pigeon shooting on peas

In this episode , I'm back out with Chris from CJW Sporting on the pigeons shooting over pease this was back in July . I had been watching the field for flight lines for a week to 10 days .planned to shoot it at the weekend due to work .well it was not to be as someone else went and shot it . to make things worse they knew I was watching it and planned to go at the weekend but that didn't stop them .
so fast forward another week I got on it . it wasn't the best of days to shoot it but I didn't want to miss out on it this time .
Chris set out 10 enforcer pigeon decoys on the field , then 1 pigeon magnet.
the wind was in my face so the bids came in over my head from behind which made for very difficult shooting the shot ratio was not so good on the day.
I managed a respectable bag on the day which was well worked for.

I guess though, a piece of land with multiple permission holders is first come first serve? I have a few bits of ground like that for pigeon shooting, I don’t let it wind me up. I do see your point though if it was a mate and went and done it on the sly, that’s a bit different.

Your right . It’s up the the land owner who they allow to go on there land . My point was they knew I was watching the field and planned to go at the weekend . It’s not the first time these people have done it. 👍

@@washwildfowler I see what you’re saying. I would hazard a guess most farmers don’t care about morals of who is watching a field to line up a big day so they can shoot a ton bag for their enjoyment. They just want the pigeons off that are costing them money! I would feel the same as you though if it was someone I knew.

It’s not the first time they’ve done it either . Just cannot help themselves. They’ve even setup on a field someone was already setup on before and ruined the day for the other guy .

The thing that Annoys me is .you never see them helping out on shoot days or any other help on the farms . 👍there is a saying the more you do the less you get thought of . 👍
