is this library compatible with older version of Kontakt? like 5.6.6

yes 5.6.6 but always check the website - I haven't tested it with every existing version of Kontakt

How does this compare to drums of war 2 ?

Drums of war 2 costs less but does have more detailed samples and is sampled more deeply in terms of variation of strikes (dynamics and round robins). Action strikes has a more nuanced and sophisticated user interface and features synchronized patterns. They’re both the same kind of instruments in the same kind of space being played the same way all with cinematic action in mind for projects such as movie trailers.
