the noise it makes while going down the pipe kind of sounds like breathing. eerie

You need a small geiger counter to lower down the hole. I'd be really interesting to see what the level is at the bottom
@thesciencefurry3 жыл бұрын
Yeah, It would be xp But I only have my selfmade one. Which is to big. And for now I won't buy a geiger counter. But I'm planning to build a gamma spectrometer.

@@thesciencefurry if I ever come across one that's suitable I'll let you borrow it. I did see a video recently where a guy had one the size of a large marker pen which would be perfect. I'll have to see if I can find the make and model

That’s honestly amazing!

Shame to see the bottles dumped down there. How many Roentgens were you reading from that, roughly?
@thesciencefurry3 жыл бұрын
Unfortunately I can't tell. I would have to calculate that roughly. But with a normal geiger counter you can only approximate it. But I'm planning to build a gamma spectrometer someday.

@@thesciencefurry I'd wager that it's a lot 🤣 Also, good luck on hunting that Uranium! Lots of cool projects you can do with that stuff 👍

Very interesting but kinda sad that people throw their trash into there and also where is this place?
@thesciencefurry3 жыл бұрын
Ah damn I wanted to say that in the video :p It's in Germany close to where I live.

@@thesciencefurry ah ok, I'm German too haha Aren't there some in aue too?

@@Electronichub_05 A cool. Idk. There probably are a lot of radioactive places, I always wanted to go to the black forest, because apparently you can get some uranium ore pretty easily there.
@Electronichub_053 жыл бұрын
@@thesciencefurry I think i got some before, I looked it up and it looked exactly like uranium ore but my dad threw it out cause he said it was dangerous. I need to build a Geiger counter too
