My young man! What can I say but thank God in heaven for you. You have an extraordinary gift my son, to unite people together from different backgrounds. I read Coollick's comment, and it's very touching indeed. I to can testify, that my days would be more lonely/isolating if I never watched your videos; as you already know I'm an elderly man who is housebound and is very sick. And I appreciate you showing us different places around the world. You in Taiwan eating your ice-cream was lovely to watch. This pre-recorded video is a special one. Ak I wish you were my son. Wow, looks so calm and chill in the morning. I was there last week, and it was extremely busy. You could hardly walk down the promenade there were so many people around.

So enjoyed spending time in Tamsui! Beautiful, the water, the people, the parks, the food, the peace. When you came across the little class of children w teachers holding hands, holding the little rope to keep them together it really touched my heart (sniff, sniff). You telling the little kitty 'be careful up there' shows your kind heart and humor! Thanks, AK for another great walk!

Let’s not forget the first Christian missionary landed in Tamsui in 1872. A Scottish Canadian named, Dr. George MacKay. You can see his statues around the city and the first hospital and church were built there. 🏨✝️

This was a fun trip through the market. I'm amazed no gets run over with the fast pace of the cars and motor bikes. Loved the cat, and the little children, so cute. I'm enjoying "our" trip Ken.

(I've been concerned there'd be pangolin scales or powder from such for sale there, but JUST watched a PBS Nature that highlighted pangolin IN Taiwan! They have reserves to protect the pangolins! Yay!) Give Taiwan my best please! 🙏@@ActionKid

A day at Tamsui by AK is an interesting journey to see...coastal lines and shops of all kinds and types to cater for tourists...the streets looks clean & filled with different kinds of buildings structures...the market place remain a meeting points for the locals...quite unique in its own rights...thanks AK for bringing us along the adventure 🎉😂

This was such an interesting walk today, Ken. First the relative peace and quiet of the waterfront and then the busy marketplace. Such contrast. Taipei seems like such an interesting place to visit and live. Judging by all the motorcycles I saw in today’s video, I gather a lot of people use them for their transportation.

There are No Walmarts in Taiwan. Because Walmart is strong business relationship with China. Night Markets all around Taiwan are very successful and they are one of the biggest economic achievements to the country. I'm from Houston, Texas and visited Taiwan twice. (my wife is Taiwanese) It's an amazing country and far much friendlier than Mainland Chinese.

@@ethanosaurusrex ok that's interesting thank you for info. I guess Walmart or major chain markets could destroy Taiwan's Street market and that could hurt retail & tourism economy. I'll have to visit Taiwan one day to compare. Continued blessings in 2024!
