Not much exploring driving on interstate 95, where was the exploration. Dude didn’t even tour the first planned city Savannah, Ga or Charleston, SC, two major historical gems along 95.

Have been following your channel since you were driving around NYC. Great to see you expanding your horizons. New York has always been one of our favourite cities to visit but those garbage strewn streets are not at the center of the universe. This trip on I95 north is a great chance to see how nice a lot of the country can be. Enjoy your new adventures.

Hitching 👍a ride from Richmond to Sout of the boarder with Kenneth was a breeze. Loving the change of scenery, but approaching South of the boarder was exciting to see such a unique place to stop over 🧡💛🧡👍Thanks can't wait for tomorrow trip. 😀

22:03 Welcome to South Carolina! That was a fairly quick drive through Georgia. 56:26 Enjoyed seeing two rows of trees and it's so scenic! 🌳 I've noticed you consistently changed lanes throughout this segment of the drive, and that was fun to watch. 😂 Woohoo for your arrival at the South of the Border, and it's such a quirky roadside attraction! I'm sure that was a much needed break after driving for the whole day. Thank you for sharing, AK! 🤗

I remember back in 70s, while living in Jacksonville, Fl. , driving to NY. On one trip stayed at SOTB. I also remember seeing their signs on 95 saying you are only some many miles from SOTB. It has changed, still looks like a nice place. Enjoyed your drive brought, back nice memories. Now for the most part any long distance travel is flying or Amtrak. Take care & stay safe!!

I-95 in SC is so nice. I love the fact that you are surrounded by trees on both sides and can't see the cars in the other direction. I hate highways but I would hate driving them less if they were all like this.

Hey there. We used to take the highway (read: Turnpike) that ran through Savannah because there is a bridge we would cross there. We used to play the License plate game to see how many different tags we could spy on the way. Riding in the slip stream of a tractor trailer usually paid off because if He braked, you knew there was a cop somewhere ahead of you both. You've been playing leap frog with that tractor trailer !! Your driving and I am looking at the license plates, the truck rigs and the signs on the side of the road, reliving my younger years all over again !! SONIC have you ever eaten at a Sonic? They have great food and even better drinks !! That red tractor trailer never caught back up to you. There are a lot of trucks in SC !! I noticed the speed signs change the further North you go. Back in the day it was a standard 55 MPH. There it is Ladies and Gentlemen the FIRST South of the Border sign at 2:50:45 YAY Almost there !! South of the Border, the most exciting thing you will see along a highway, bar none !! YAY he made it.

2:48:54 indeed it is old, it was hurricane Matthew that forced the resurfacing of the bridge in 2018! I have little memory of it but before they resurfaced it, it wasn't super smooth

Years ago you would go to Triple A and they would prepare a trip tic for your journey. They were great to follow through each state. Everything to eat and do on the way was on them. I’ve taken this trip to many times but we did do it once in 24 straight hours. “I was so much younger then I’m older then that now.”

Happy Easter AK! I’ve driven this stretch many times. It is probably the easiest part of the trip. The road through the “Low Country” seems to wash out on the right shoulder, leaving pot holes. Otherwise, it’s a great ride!

I've been enjoying this road trip playlist. You are a good, respectful driver, unlike some of the maniacs tailgating and speeding I've seen in these videos. Hope you consider another long distance trip, I drove from Rhode Island to San Francisco years ago, and it was great. Thank you.
