So sad to see my city so devastated. I watched videos on the Upper West Side where I lived on West 73rd Street between Central Park West and Columbus and also saw your video on the Upper East Side where I also once lived. Soho where I loved to shop. I was in tears watching this. Grew up in NYC and moved to Boca Raton Florida in October 2018 but my friends and family live in NYC. Was there in March while the pandemic was just kicking up and NYC started closing down. Haven't been able to get back as Florida is on the Quarantine list if we come back to NY. So so sad to see the city like this on the videos. Praying it makes a come back. Keep doing more videos.

I work down in West Soho & when I was there in the shopping district a couple of months ago it was completely dead but now it’s starting to come back to life gradually! It’s actually a great thing to see & I hope NYC will come back stronger than ever!!!

Rents have already plummeted significantly if you’re serious about living in the city now is the time. In my old neighborhood of Gramercy Park grants have dropped between $500:and $800 And that’s common for all parts of the city

Soho is always a nice place to walk, very nice tour. It was pretty empty there, but I'd call it manageable. The first half of 2020 was so challenging and weird, I'm glad New York is starting to recover from that, you recorded quite some history during that time.

Seriously like what is up with so many unnecessary scaffolding. I thought they were going to give rid of many..Yet some have been up for more than a decade for no reason just because landlords are too cheap to pay for maintenance. It's an eyesore and dangerous when it gets windy.

I grew up in that neighborhood from the 40s till the eighties all those buildings in the area were factories where clothes were made,the artists started to move in the area in the late seventies early 80s.

No NYC is not completely opened. Theaters on Broadway are closed & may be opening sometime in 2021. Many restaurants and stores are still closed.

When I was a little girl my cousin was a teenager and her boyfriend and his friends rented a store in SoHo ( our neighborhood and the Village) Thompson Street between Spring and Broome. The rent was $50 a month 1967
