This another area I spent time in as a kid an adult. Ran a hair salon along Bedford Ave and North 6th. You made a comment that happened to me as you walked by my original salon space that's part of the coffee shop about the rents going up. My family is part of that 30% Puerto Ricans that came here in the early 50's.

Oh, man, you guys just missed a couple places I'd like to have seen. My uncle and aunt ran Teddy's Tavern on North 8th and Berry (he was Teddy) back in the day when it was a popular neighborhood bar. I lived on Grand Street between Berry and Bedford as a small boy and went to school at Our Lady of Consolation on North First for kindergarten and first grade. That was definitely a Polish parish back then. We learned a little Polish along with our English reading lessons. My uncle and aunt also had a small grocery store on North First before they had Teddy's Tavern. What a change in that area.

Another great walking tour. My son and daughter in law used to live up there. We went to the bowling place. Very cool. There is also an old timey video game arcade and a dog bar down closer to the bridge and Broadway that are really fun. Also love the new park by the river. Great part of Brooklyn.

Awesome tour guys, Love learning so much about Brooklyn being a native Brooklynite myself......there’s so much history to be learned. Btw, have you considered a tour of Cypress Hills, in the East New York area.....where I grew up back in the 60’s. Lots of history to be found there. Thank you both for all your hard work on all your tours and videos, it’s greatly appreciated 😊

Thanks for suffering (sweating*) for your Art. Yea, used to be Williamsburgh/Red Hook were places you didn't go to. Now, I couldn't afford to go there. Btw, in reference to a previous great walk of yous guys, the indigenous Lenape residents called the area across the estuary, 'Mannahatta' the "Island of many hills". They were the first to be squeezed out by the high rents of Henry Hudson Realty. Useless factoid: the burghs of NYC were hills, ie. Richmond Hills, a Southern barrio where John Wilkes Booth did stand-up. Adjacent to it was Ozone Park where the 'Beat' Jack Kerouc was nicknamed the "Wizard of Oz". Tom, feel free to use dat in your act titled "Before Comedy was Funny" as you tap the mike, "..... is anyone out there?" into the empty void of a dimmy lit room. (Credit the name to another Comedian Tom Lennon of the 'State'/'Viva Variety'.) * tampons would make good armpit fear absorbers during an performance in addition to treating shotgun wounds. A two-for-one, whaz not to like? Good to see you two taking your act on the road again from your self-imposed hiberation. AK: "Who's on Staten Island, What's on Manhattan. .." and so on.

So This VT 32:20 building is artistically representative of the smoke stacks of 100 years ago. I see that more often Also you will see these warf properties becoming highrise truck farms to provide year round local produce. Even poltry can be farmed 10 stories up. On Lee Ave overlooking the BQE was the YMHA where I learned to swim. It's there still?

Since your membership is growing fast these person don't understand to let the chance to others to get intouch. They seem to think since they gave few bucks you belong to them .
