What a peaceful place. I love the scenery, the sound of the trees and wind. Sorry for your disappointment about the Labyrinth. What a pity. You must be super fit! I really enjoyed watching your hike video. Really different and interesting. Amazing views!

My brother, mother and I have been enjoying your videos these past months. Mom lived in Brooklyn in her youth, for a time near the Ave H train station, so she enjoyed your video visit there. Today, my brother let us know you had been up to Mohonk. My great-grandfather, Benjamin Helmer, worked there from 1895 thru 1936, working his way up to postmaster. Your video really does capture the tranquility of the place. Great job!

I miss hiking, I used to hike in state parks and in some nature preserves. I won't ever forget the first state park that I went to with our hiking club. The real hikers were climbing hills like they were nothing and my legs were screaming. You are on a great trail, thanks for taking us along.

Wow! My Mom and I were there on the same day as you! We must have just missed you. We didn't see any people on our way up but lots on our way down. A very windy & brisk day but so beautiful!

Wow! Finally you were there! But I’m so sorry to hear that the Labyrinth path was closed😥 However the path you took was so impressive! It’s much better and longer than mine. The view from the top is also more beautiful than when i was there. It must have been really hard for you to film because it was a very windy day! Thanks for sharing! Great job😍😉👍
@ActionKid4 жыл бұрын
Yes, it’s a shame the Labyrinth was closed. It was because of icy conditions. I thought you took the Sky Path trail there. I didn’t walk along the lake shore though!

I prefer the view from the 86th floor over the one on 102. I worked in the GM building on 5th Avenue from 2003-2009. Whenever it was foggy or stormy, it looked like we were on a ship. It was very eerie.

You must go back there someday AK and do that labyrinth trail it’s amazing especially when you get to the crevice part. Yet word of warning some parts of that hike would have been literally impossible to do while holding on to your gimbal by hand. Just a heads up if you ever go back and do it.

Very nice resort. But the walk to it on the path not for me, not by myself with no one around. Could be my age too. 😱🤷🏽♀️ And when you reached the Labyrinth, closed probably because of "falling rocks". The resort or park ranger can't take that chance. The views at the top are so very nice- BEAUTIFUL!!

looks good. stable. I bet the air smelled good but a hundred bucks to go for a walk sounds like a lot. There's got to be cheaper ways. You could put your bike on a bus or train out of the city I bet. I looked up the Mountain House 2Queen room is >$1000 a night but includes everything the resort offers, activities, fine dining etc. Looks nice

The snack place at the start must have been a shop originally. You had the park to yourself except near the hotel. Maybe a companion should be with you in case of accidents.

Hi Actionkid, you're doing a great job! Live in Spain. Can't cash my Stimulus check here or endorse it because it's intransferable. Non-residents though US citizens can't open a US account. PayPal or cash apps don't work abroad because they're in the local currency or says your country is unauthorized to do the transaction. My local address shows on the check. A check cashing store seems the best solution. Can you suggest cheap and reliable ones in 10018? Think I'll have to take a trip just to cash the check. Thanks

I heard it's never good to hike by yourself. Even though he's really not hiking per se, on this trail which he is not familiar (yes, he is in very good condition & relatively young) he should have brought someone with him- safety reasons. Anything could happen.
