Richard Medina UES we noticed that too while walking around the City. There definitely is more street traffic in our neighborhood of the East Village. We just walked to Times Square yesterday and it was still pretty empty though.

It's really amazing how quiet everything is. I've been using Revel scooters to get to my work locations rather than the subway for now - not sure I would feel comfortable using them if traffic were back to normal!

Walking Commuter yes we noticed while filming our walks around NYC that there is more traffic now than just a week or so ago so be safe on your scooter!

There is definitely lots more traffic on the streets these days so please be careful. Also we noticed lots of private coach buses by 57th Street/ Central Park and wondered why they are all there. Do you have any idea as all the hotels are closed to tourists.

I think someone mentioned that those buses are to shuttle workers to different job sites.

ActionKid yes that makes sense as we walked to the Times Square area yesterday and saw coach buses traveling from a police guarded hotel that were labeled Bellevue. Must be transporting hospital workers who are in isolation

Why so many buses? There aren't tourists.

They are commuter buses used by essential workers who cannot work from home. Also medical personnel who are from other places are using shuttle buses from their hotels to the hospitals.
